Goonjar Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Goonjar messaging and community platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Age Restrictions

• Who can join: People of any age may create a Goonjar account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should read these Terms with you.
• Date of Birth: You must provide your date of birth at signup (or, for an account created before this requirement, the next time you are asked). It is stored on your account so age-appropriate limits can apply to users under 18.
• Protection of Minors: Content or conduct that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers anyone under 18 is prohibited and is removed, the accounts involved are disabled, and confirmed cases are reported to the authorities as the law requires.

Child Safety Commitment

Goonjar maintains ZERO TOLERANCE for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).We are committed to protecting children and will:

• Immediately remove any CSAE content
• Permanently ban accounts involved in CSAE
• Report all CSAE incidents to law enforcement
• Cooperate with child protection agencies
• Maintain 24/7 child safety monitoring

Prohibited Conduct Involving Minors

• Any sexual content involving minors
• Grooming, exploitation, or trafficking
• Inappropriate communication with users under 18
• Sharing harmful or dangerous content to minors
• Violating any child protection laws

Permitted Activities

• Communicating with friends, family, and communities
• Sharing appropriate content and media
• Creating and joining communities
• Using features as intended and designed

Prohibited Activities

• Illegal activities or content
• Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
• Hate speech or discriminatory content
• Spam, fraud, or deceptive practices
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Distributing malware or harmful code
• Impersonating others or false representation

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and share on Goonjar. By posting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute that content as necessary to provide our service.

Content Standards

• All content must comply with these Terms and our Community Standards
• We may remove content that violates our policies
• You are responsible for the content you share
• Report violations through our in-app reporting system

Intellectual Property

• Respect others' intellectual property rights
• Don't share copyrighted material without permission
• Report intellectual property violations
• We respond to valid DMCA takedown requests

Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Termination by Goonjar

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms or Community Standards
• CSAE or child safety violations (permanent, no appeal)
• Illegal activities or content
• Harm to other users or the platform
• Non-payment for premium features (if applicable)

Effect of Termination

• Access to your account will be terminated
• Some data may be retained for legal/safety purposes
• Content may remain if shared with others
• Termination does not affect legal obligations

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration

Most disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for CSAE and child safety matters, which may be immediately referred to law enforcement.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class actions.

You agree to indemnify and hold Goonjar harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of others.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Standards, constitute the entire agreement between you and Goonjar regarding the use of our service.
